CONTEMPORARY ABSTRACT LANDSCAPE ARTIST.

Born in the north of Sweden, Maria moved to Chicago Northshore in 2015 after 15 years in Asia. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design and worked for over 20 years in the apparel industry. She has participated in several group shows in Singapore and Chicago Northshore and had her first solo exhibition in 2021. She shows her work annually at local events like Wilmette Art Fair and the Art Walk in Hubbard Woods. She has been teaching workshops in oil & cold wax painting since 2023.
